2) Penélope Cruz will become the oldest-ever Bond girl when she starts work on Skyfall’s follow-up next year. At 40, she’ll be the nearest Bond’s had to an age-appropriate girlfriend. Kudos.
3) We love Rebecca Ferguson! No, not the former X Factor star, but the Swedish actress in The White Queen on BBC1. Her amazing talent and willowy beauty make her our new girl crush.
4) Strawberries and cream! Rafael Nadal’s legs! It can only mean one thing: Wimbledon is back. We’re hoping 2013 will be Andy Murray’s year.
5) How cute are the kids cast as mini Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran in their video for Everything Has Changed? The single’s out tomorrow, but we’ve been obsessed with the vid for weeks!

6) The second and final season of musical theatre drama Smash airs next month on Sky Atlantic. We’re psyched for Jennifer Hudson’s appearance – expect high notes aplenty!
7) Judging by new flick World War Z and C4 drama The Returned, zombies are the new vampires. Sorry, Twilight.
8) Style props to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt – she shows girls don’t have to do frills and ballet flats to look good. Keep breaking the mould, Shiloh!
9) Carol Vorderman hopes to fly solo around the world next year, while her boyf, a former Red Arrows squadron leader, follows behind in a support aircraft. Go, Carol!
10) Who knows what fashion credentials led to former Neighbours star Holly Valance being appointed a judge on TLC’s Ultimate Shopper, but the show itself is so addictive. Competitive shopping? What’s not to love?

11) What is it with people who pay thousands for plastic surgery to get the features of their favourite celebs, only to look nothing like them? Be happy in your own skin, guys!
12) Poundland is selling this bra for £1. The only problem is, you’ll probably need to wear three of them to keep the girls up.
13) Remember the embellished jeans trend of the late ’90s? Now it’s coming to a manicure near you – denim bling overload!
14) He stole the show in Notting Hill, but since Rhys Ifans exposed himself as a grumpy git in a car-crash newspaper interview, we won’t be seeing his next movie, Serena.
15) Kylie Jenner, 15, has treated her car – a £80,000 Mercedes SUV, no less – to a spa day. Words fail us.
