We’ve got festive fever this week, as cute Christmas puddings go head-to-head with cracker-esque designs. But who’s your winner?

These lovely little puddings were a cinch to create. I painted Nails Inc Nail Polish in King Street for a molten bronze base (which has sadly been discontinued now), then simple sketched on the wriggly white lines with the pin end of my Models Own Wah Nails Nail Art Pen in white, then painted the top half in using the striper brush. I let the white stuff dry, then used a tooth pick to sketch on the holly leaves and berries using Max Factor Max Effect Mini Nail Polish in Cactus Green and Essie Nail Polish in She’s Pampered, which is a lovely true red. I finished with a coat of super-glossy topcoat, and am finally ready to wrap my presents in style!

To create a zig-zag effect worthy of any cracker, Lara used Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Garden Green for the base. Then to create the zig-zag lines, which she very impressively did by hand, she used the striper brush end of Models Own WAH Nails Nail Art Pen in Gold. She drew them on quite fine to start with, and then went over them again to thicken them up once the first layer of etchings was dry. Then, for the finishing touch, she took Nails Inc Pinkie Pink nail polish and painted it over the top half of her nail to give the look a more festive feel.
