The weekend is here and the sunshine has stuck around! You should probably make the most of it with our top things to do around the country…

Malibutique, Liverpool

Malibutique

Cancel all other plans! If you’re over 18 and heading out tonight or tomorrow evening, get yourself to Liverpool ONE for a proper pampering session. There’ll be styling from ASOS, manicures by Nails Inc and hair styling by Toni&Guy, as well as de-lish cocktails by Malibu to get you on your way. It’s only on until Sunday before the pop-up boutique heads to London, Birmingham and Manchester over the rest of the summer. And the best thing about it? It’s all free! You won’t have to pay penny to look a million dollars! For more info, visit their Facebook page – MalibuRum.

Vauxhall Art Car Boot Fair, London

Car boot

Everyone loves a good car boot, well we do. And this one is a bit more special than your average Sunday morning scrum. It’s not only your chance to nab your very own Tracey Emin or Sir Peter Blake but you’ll probably get to meet them at the same time, as they’ll be the ones selling their wares out of the back of an old Vauxhall. They’ll be joined by the likes of Pam Hogg and Gavin Turk, just off Brick Lane, and if you think it sounds too good to be true, trust us, it’s not! Tickets are just £5 and for more details, visit artcarbootfair.com.

NoFit State Circus, Bristol

Circus

On a transformed piece of derelict land behind Bristol Temple Meads train station, you’ll find Creative Common, home to 250 artists and performers over the next nine months. It opened yesterday with the launch of the spellbinding show Bianco by the incredible NoFit State Circus. The acrobatic performers will deffos have you peeping from between your fingers with their awe-mazing aerial moves – it’s a bloomin’ good show. Bianco is running until June 23 and to book tickets, go to creativecommon.co.uk.

Coastal Trail, East Sussex

Coastal trail

Fancy some good food, the sunny outdoors and a spot of art this weekend? Get down to Sussex today and tomorrow for a culture trail along 20 miles of  rather lovely coastline. Three of the best galleries around, the De La Warr Pavillion, Jerwood Gallery and Towner have all joined forces to bring you some treats to behold. From Hastings’ Old Town and Eastbourne Pier to Beachy Head and the South Downs National Park, stop off at some pubs along the way and make a day of it. And seeing as the sun’s out, it’d be rude not to. For more info, visit townereastbourne.org.uk.

Soho Food Feast

Soho feast

The great and good of London’s restaurant scene will be at the Soho Food Feast, now in its second year. This is one for urban foodies and those with a penchant for any of the following: foraging, ceviche, burgers, or anywhere in the Middle East. Bringing together some of the country’s most high-profile chefs, successful restaurants including Polpo, Shrimpy’s and Mele e Pere, and demonstrations and tastings galore, the Soho Food Feast will really show what’s on the cutting edge of foodie culture in the UK. Head to sohofoodfeast for more info.
